Short Bio

Audrey Frank is an author, speaker, and true-storyteller. She and her family have spent over two decades living and serving among different cultures and world views. Although Audrey has spoken seven languages and has three college degrees, her greatest credential is that she is known and loved by the One who made her. She calls Him the God of Instead, the Messiah who gives honor instead of shame, gladness instead of mourning, and hope instead of despair.

• HonorShame.com offers practical tools and training for Christians ministering in honor-shame contexts. Though honor-shame is the primary OS for 80% of the world, this worldview remains a significant blind spot in Western culture, theology, and missiology. HonorShame.com develops and advocates a biblical missiology for honor-shame cultures so that all peoples will sing, “My salvation and honor depend on God” (Ps 62:7).

• When Women Speak is a collaboration among Christian women scholars and practitioners whose purpose is to give attention to the place of women’s voices where Christianity, Islam, and missiology meet.

• Honor Diaries: Spurred by the Arab Spring, women who were once silent are starting to speak out about gender inequality and are bringing visibility to a long history of oppression in this deeply moving film.
