My upcoming book, Covered Glory: The Face of Honor and Shame in the Muslim World, releases August 20, 2019 (Harvest House Publishers), and you are invited to join my launch team!

What is a launch team? Edie Melson, my stellar writing mentor, says,

“A street team—also called a launch team, dream team, tribe, posse, road crew, etc.—is a group of readers passionate about your book. These are people who believe in what you’ve written and see the value of sharing it with others. They agree to post reviews, mention it on Goodreads, share about it on social media, and of course talk about it in person.” 

What have I written? I have written a tool I wish I’d had when I began more than twenty years ago working among other cultures and world views. In Covered Glory: The Face of Honor and Shame in the Muslim World, you will hear true stories of women who have overcome stunning adversity when they encountered the God of Instead, who gives beauty instead of ashes, honor instead of shame.

You will find your own story woven into theirs as you examine what the Bible says about shame and the work Jesus did to establish your worth forever. You will learn how the worldview of honor and shame impacts your Gospel witness to Muslims, especially Muslim women, the honor burden bearers.

• Suggest Covered Glory to your book club, library, local bookstore, or give to friends as gifts.
